The Client

Wrkman is a leading marketplace in Nigeria. Originally built to connect users with vetted artisans, the platform evolved to provide a vertically integrated experience where users can both hire a pro and buy the parts needed for the job.

The Friction

Wrkman faced a scaling plateau: users could find a plumber (Service), but the plumber would then leave the platform to buy materials (Supply). This led to revenue leakage and a disconnected user experience. To dominate the market, Wrkman needed to launch its Store App alongside a refreshed Artisan App to capture the entire transaction value.

Ecosystem Mapping: We mapped the user journey from "Broken Pipe" (Pain) to "Part Purchased" (Store) to "Job Done" (Artisan).
